The past couple of months at the sanctuary have been rough for some of our animals. Benny, Coco, and Calvin have all had to be hospitalized! 

And while medical care is an expected cost at the sanctuary, multiple emergencies add up. 

Right now, thanks to a generous donor, your donation will double, up to $2,000. 

You can help cover the cost of emergency medical care for Calvin and Coco, two of our precious residents.

Coco: $3,800
Coco is currently hospitalized after undergoing surgery to remove her udder. Coco suffers from squamous cell carcinoma. She receives laser ablations to remove external cancer, as needed. But sometimes, this cancer can spread, requiring more extensive support. 

Coco had her udder surgically removed, and is being closely monitored and treated at the hospital. Her prognosis is guarded.

With your gift of $20, $40, or $60, you cover the costs of Coco's antibiotics, wound dressings, pain management, and hospitalization. And right now, your donation will double, all thanks to a generous supporter. 

Calvin: $8,000
Calvin spent more than a week hospitalized at UC Davis with severe gastroenteritis. 

He is back home and people like you have raised $2,300 of his $8,000 bill. Your donation of $25, $50, or $75 will double and cover Calvin's bill AND continued care.
